TDA2030, TDA2040, TDA2050 Power Amplifier Mini Subwoofer with TL074 Op-Amp Low Pass Filter
I present his next deal. This unit, as its name suggests is an amplifier for the woofer, popularly known as the subwoofer. The system is equipped with an active filter built on operational amplifiers, and the adder enable signal at the same time provide stereo output. Because the signal for the system is taken from the speaker outputs, running system with audio, so there is no need to intervene in the operating amplifier. Downloading the signal from the speaker has another advantage namely, to preserve a constant ratio of the volume subwoofer to your stereo system. Strengthening the subwoofer channel can be adjusted by a potentiometer. After filtering out high frequency signal is amplified by means of TDA2030, or similar. Stereo input signal is fed to the connector In (HEADER), with C1 (100nF) and R1 (2.2 M) in the first channel and C2 (100nF) and R2 (2.2 M) in the second channel, it goes to the inverting amplifier input operating U1A (TL074). Potentiometer P1 (220k) working in the feedback amplifier U1A can gain control of the entire system. Next the signal is fed to the filter elements of the second government of U1B (TL074), R3 (68k), R4 (150k), C3 (22nF) and C4 (4.7 nF), who works as a Butterworth filter. Circuit through C5 (220nF), R5 (100k), the signal goes to the follower U1C, and then on through C6 (10uF) at the input amplifier U2 (TDA2030).
Capacitor C6 provides a separation constant component of the pre-amplifier. Resistors R7 (100k), R8 (100k) and R9 (100k) degrees of polarization are used to pre-amplifier, a capacitor C7 (22uF) is the voltage polarizing filters. Elements of R10 (4.7K), R11 (150k) and C8 (2.2uF) are working in a negative feedback loop and are designed to shape the spectral characteristics of the amplifier low pass filter. Resistor R12 (1R) with capacitor C9 (100nF) are working in the system that shapes the characteristics of the output. Capacitor C10 (2200uF) prevents flow of direct current through the speaker, along with the impedance of the speaker sets the lower limit frequency of the amplifier.
Diode D1 (1N4007) and D2 (1N4007) prevents the emergence of serious tensions that may arise in the coil speaker. The supply voltage with a value of 18 – 30V connector is served at Vcc, the capacitor C11 (100uF or 4700uF) is the main filter capacitor. Stabilizer U3 (78L15) with capacitors C12 (100nF), C15 (100uF) and C16 (100nF) provides a voltage level of 15V for U1. Elements R13 (10k) and R14 (10k) and the capacitors C13 (100uF) and C14 (100nF). Form the divider input bias operational amplifiers, voltage close to half of their power supply.
